Bespoke Events and Partnerships

Bring a little more play to what you’re creating

We work with venues, organisations, festivals, businesses and community partners to create playful experiences that invite people to participate rather than simply watch.

Sometimes that means bringing The Wild Things to an existing event. Sometimes we're given a space and asked to transform it. And sometimes a conversation begins with little more than: we'd like to do something brilliant for families — what could we make happen?

We are never happier than when we're thinking of new ideas for delivering to families!

Playful experiences, built around you. We don't believe in simply dropping the same activity into every setting. We start with your audience, your space and what you're hoping to achieve, then develop an experience that works around them.

That might include:

  • family activity areas at festivals and large events

  • creative and nature-based installations

  • seasonal or themed experiences

  • facilitated play and making

  • community engagement

  • playful experiences for adults and teams

  • bespoke commissions developed around a particular place, audience or idea

Our work can be small and beautifully simple, or something much more immersive.

Recent partners include Hartpury University, The Cheltenham Trust, Heart Heroes and the Mayor of Worcester.

Wild Birthdays

For children who'd rather make, explore, invent and get stuck in than have their fun organised for them.

We create playful, imaginative birthday experiences built around your child, your space and the things that spark their curiosity. From creative challenges and curious making to outdoor adventures and wonderfully silly games, we'll bring the ideas, materials and gentle facilitation — with plenty of room for the children to take things in their own direction.

No two Wild Things parties need to look the same.

"We used The Wild Things for our daughter Isadora’s Alice in Wonderland themed party last Saturday, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. From the moment we booked, the communication was brilliant. Liz worked closely with me in the lead up to the event, making sure that the activities beautifully tied into our chosen theme.

On the day, they were a calming presence while I was busy setting up, and once the party started, they took care of everything. It meant I could relax and enjoy the day knowing the children were engaged and happy.

There was no rigid structure to the play, which worked perfectly for our group. The children were free to dip in and out of different activity tables at their own pace. This suited the venue really well, especially with outdoor space and flexible eating times. The whole party had a natural, easy flow, and the children absolutely loved it.

Everyone went home with wonderful themed keepsakes like ‘Drink Me’ potions, caterpillar keyrings and colouring sheets featuring the birthday girl, which was such a lovely touch. Liz and Lauren brought such a calm, creative energy to the day and helped make it truly special. I couldn’t fault a single thing, everything was fantastic.

Thank you again, The Wild Things, for making the party so magical."
